I composed this piece inspired by the track ‘Blessed Sadness’ while thinking of 2020 and what this year has been for all of us.
A massive anthropological change, a condition that man has never faced before. A world where ‘social distance’ becomes an acceptable concept, where technology replaces human contact to extreme levels, and human connection becomes only a possibility to choose, and to fight for.

The notes brought me here, as in other times in the past, when it is the notes and sounds that find me, like the porcini mushroom in the woods...when you find them, you think that it is you who have found them, but it is really the other way around!
